Food Drive Thank you!
Drum roll, please...Over the course of last week's "Give Love" Food Drive, Brookview families donated over 225 pounds of food to Waukee Christian Services Food Pantry!

February PTO Meeting Recap
WOW! We had an amazing PTO meeting last night with our guest, Dr. Brad Buck. We learned about achievement data, funding, and the district’s 10-year plan for facilities. We are really excited about the proposed addition to BV!

5th Grade Give Love Party!!
Our fifth graders made door decorations for the Ronald McDonald House today. The groups worked on spring and summer decorations, played bingo, and ate goodies.
4th Grade Give Love Party!!
Shout out to our fourth graders who decorated custom candy wrappers for first responders. The kids enjoyed playing games and eating cookies.
3rd Grade Give Love Party!!
We have been receiving so many pictures from our Give Love parties yesterday and they make our hearts feel so full!
Our third graders worked together to make blankets for animals waiting to be adopted at the Animal Rescue League. That’s how we #GiveLove to our community. They had sweet treats and played games too.

BV Food Drive NOW through Friday

Give Love Party Preview- Kindergarten
Our kindergarteners are making bags for people who are homeless on Friday during their Give Love parties. They will have some sweet treats and play games as well. Each bag will be decorated and filled with a water bottle, granola bar, and a hand warmer. 💜💛

A: YOU are! Everyone's invited to our party! All Waukee school district parents, teachers, administrators, and community partners are invited to celebrate Waukee and have a fabulous evening with friends! This evening supports the mission of the Foundation as we strive to support our students, teachers, and staff.
Q: What do I wear?
A: No black tie or ball gown required! We're keeping it casual and fun! We do suggest wearing your favorite Waukee gear to show your school spirit!
Q: Will food be served? Drinks?
A: Oh my, yes! We will have several food stations set up with a menu our guests will love: sushi, shrimp, ravioli, fruit/veggies, and more! Incredible desserts will be available throughout the evening, so help yourself! Barn Town Brewing will be serving beer and we'll have wine and other drinks, too!

February Helping Hands
It was another great meeting of our Helping Hands today!
Students made 40 placemats and created smiley faces on 30 cans of food to give to the Waukee Area Christian Services food pantry.
They also made 46 get well cards for two students at Brookview-one is a first grader having a bone marrow transplant at the Mayo Clinic and the other is his brother, a third grader, who is the donor. We send them lots of love and support.
