If you haven't had a chance to talk to Kavitha about the awesome Multicultural Day she coordinates for Brookview each year, do! Her passion and motivation for putting on this event for Brookview is something special.

Meet Kavitha . . .

My favorite Brookview Event is . . . Diversity Day. 

I have a 5th grader and 7th grader.

When my kids started at Brookview, I wish I knew . . . the PTO was so cool—I would have joined the board sooner! 

One thing I wish people know about the Brookview PTO is . . . we have lots of fun.

The best thing about volunteering at Brookview is . . . seeing the happiness on the kids’ faces. 

My favorite memory of elementary school is . . . my cultural day at school.

My hometown is . . . Chicago

The most interesting place I’ve visited is . . . a palace in India.

My day is better when . . . I work out.

I look up to . . . Michelle Obama. 

People usually ask me for help with . . . making food at potlucks or bringing a cocktail.
